It’s that time of year again. You’ve done the bulk of your Christmas shopping, ordered a load of stuff online that you’re now waiting to get delivered, but you still need the little bits and pieces to make up as stocking fillers.
So it’s a good job I’ve done the research for you and come up with a bucket load of great bits and pieces for just about everyone. Well at least everyone I need to buy for.
Wherever possible I have included an Amazon Prime link so you can still order online and get next day delivery until the 23rd December.
And just for the purposes of transparency, this post contains a lot of affiliate links. Please do give them a click. I might even get paid if you buy something. I won’t get paid very much, but you know, every little helps.
The Harry Potter Fan
I do love a bit of Harry Potter. I didn’t really overly get it until I went to the theme park in Florida shortly after it first opened and realised this wasn’t just a kids book. My daughter had always been into it and read all the books several times and watched all the films about a million times. I loved the theme park and spent an absolute fortune on merchandise there. Since then I’ve read all the books, watched all the films, been back to the theme park several times and visited the film set at Warner Brothers Studios in London a few times. Oh and enjoyed drinks with a cast member (perks of the day job).
So I was pretty delighted when Paladone invited me along to a Harry Potter games night to check out a huge range of merchandise and games available, all based around, yep you guessed it, Harry Potter. I suddenly realised just how competitive I was when I refused to let the game of Top Trumps go, even though at that point it had taken about 37 days to play, we were being sent food parcels and care packs and longing for letters from home. Or should I say an Owl from home. I was going to win that game of Top Trumps no matter what. And I did………. eventually! I even brought home a bag of swag for my efforts to expand my collection of Harry Potter merchandise. And I do love a good mug. The travel mug is really cool and the coasters now take up pride of place on my desk.

Let’s face it, anything Harry Potter related makes great stocking fillers.
The Family Games Lover
You’ll be snorting with laughter if you play with these piggy games for Christmas. The original party animals, Pass the Pigs, use hilarious pigs for dice. Will you roll a sider or start makin’ bacon? Having fun with friends, on the road entertainment, or just chilling out – the game is on for every pig in the parlour!
Fantastic fun for the whole family, Pass the Pigs is so easy to play. Simply throw the 2 piggies up in the air and see how they land. Compare the pigs landing positions with your scorecard and earn points, the first to 100 wins.
Suitable for ages 3+ and available for £9.99rrp
The MakeUp Lover
I’m slowly becoming a Charlotte Tilbury convert. I recently attended the opening of their new counter at Selfridges at the Trafford Centre in Manchester and came home with quite a haul of goodies. They have created a new icons collection which bundles products together to create specific looks. Naturally I wasn’t content with just one look and went for a few different ones. I do love the foundation though for an every day wear. And the lipsticks are just beautiful.
You can shop the full Charlotte Tilbury Makeup range here
Urban Decay have been spoiling us this year with the release of the Naked Heat eye palette. Makeup lovers went crazy to get their hands on it. I still quite like the Naked 3 palette also so I figure that they would both make great stocking fillers.

The Stationary Fan
As I’ve told you before I do love Smiggle stuff so I was delighted when they sent me some more items to take a look at. Whether you’re an adult wanting some fun, quirky stationary or you want your kids to have something that’s cool, practical and looks sooooooooooo cute, Smiggle have a huge range to chose from.
Fun Things For The Kids
I recently attended the Blog On Conference in Manchester and came home with a huge pile of mostly kids toys. I’ve picked out a few bits that are ideal stocking fillers.

The Person Who Likes Things To Smell Nice
Once you reach a certain age, you can’t go wrong with a good smelly candle. I got this great pack of 3 jar candles by Swizzles from B&M Stores. They’ll be open right through to Christmas Eve for all your last minute gifts. And they have absolutely loads to choose from. I was delighted when B&M asked me to go shopping in store for some last minute gifts and I’ll have a full post up tomorrow of everything I got there.
I also picked up this amazing Yankee Candle jar in there for just £4.99. The smell is so strong and the quality of Yankee Candles means the fragrance will run right through the wax whilst it burns.
I’ve also been road testing these gorgeous candles from Heart & Home recently. You can grab some last minute stocking filler candles from them over on Amazon. And don’t forget you can still get Amazon Prime deliveries right up to Christmas Eve.
My (not so) little un is 17 next month. As much as I don’t feel old enough to have a 17-year-old child, the bit I’m dreading most is her taking to the roads. I don’t think I’m quite ready to hand over my car keys nor my nerves at the thought of her behind the wheel. The very nice people at Young Driver took pity on my plight and invited my daughter along for a 30-minute taster lesson.
I’m not sure who was more nervous! I also feared for the poor little Vauxhall Corsa. But quite surprisingly (to me) she hoped in, and within minutes the instructor had her, gear, signal manoeuvre and away she went! I held my breath for the next 30 minutes. But she loved it and has asked to go again. I’m still not quite ready to hand over my car keys though.
Young Driver offers a range of lessons for kids as young as 5 right through to 17 and they even offer a lesson in a Bentley. I might try that one myself! You can book your lessons online at any time so you don’t even have to panic about getting these great stocking fillers delivered on time.
The Fashion Conscious Mum
The weather last week was pretty damn cold. We took a day out to the Manchester Christmas Markets and it was absolutely freezing. So I was delighted to be wrapped up nice and warm in the fluffy, cowl neck sweater sent to me by online fashion retailer Damart. This sweater in a metallic marl knit and is very warm and comfortable. It certainly kept me warm whilst out Christmas shopping.
Damart have a great range to choose from including the all important thermals!
The Gadget Geek
As usual Apple have released new products in time for Christmas. And Amazon are making a big push on their Echo products. I’m sure they will be keeping the gadget geeks busy over the festive period.
I picked up these speakers and headphones on my trip to B&M Stores this week. Since my daughter spends half her life with her headphones in or her music blasting I thought they’d be welcome stocking fillers for her.
I was given several products for free over the past few months to be included in various gift guides. I have only chosen products for this guide that I have used personally and I am happy to recommend. This guide does include affiliate links that I may be paid for if you make a purchase via them.
Given the variety of products I receive not all would be used in the future by me, therefore I have donated several items to my local Barnardos store for them to sell.
